While Seattle neighborhoods have plenty of little free library boxes full of novels and self-help books, Noam’s father Ben felt a neighborhood cookbook library would be a more appropriate memorial for Noam’s love of cooking.

So he designed one (with elements that Noam would definitely appreciate) and built it with a little help from friends.

We keep it stocked with:

• Various donated cookbooks

• Copies of Noam’s book of recipes “The Hungry OD”

• Individual recipe cards with some of Noam’s recipes

• Occasional treats, ingredients, and Noam’s favorite chocolates
